DuPage County attorney Lynn Mirabella is a partner at MKFM Law and concentrates her practice on family law, including high-profile cases and complex litigation. She is certified to represent children as a Guardian ad Litem, Child’s Representative, and Attorney for Child, as well as in collaborative law, arbitration, and mediation.
Mirabella is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. She was president of the Justinian Society of Lawyers, DuPage County, and she served on former U.S. Senator Mark Kirk’s Federal Judicial Review Commission from 2011 to 2016.
Mirabella received the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers’ Inspirational Woman of the Year award in 2015. She has been rated a Leading Lawyer since 2015 and named to the Super Lawyers list since 2012. Chicago Magazine has named her one of the Top Attorneys in Illinois since 2012.
Mirabella earned her Juris Doctor from the Kent College of Law in 1987. She served six years as an assistant state’s attorney in the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office before joining the firm as an associate in 1993. She became a partner in the firm in 2005.
