Stacey A. McCullough

For over 25 years, Stacey has dedicated her legal career to the defense of the criminally accused. An experienced litigator in the area of felony, misdemeanor, juvenile and traffic laws, she demonstrates honesty, compassion, and tenacity with each and every client. Stacey is also a skilled advocate in administrative law matters, providing representation in school discipline proceedings and DCFS appeals. She practices in DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Cook, Will, and McHenry counties.

Stacey received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University of Chicago in 1994 and was admitted to the practice of law in Illinois that same year. She is a 1991 graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where her Criminal Justice degree was conferred with highest honors. Stacey’s legal career began at the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office, where she developed invaluable trial and negotiation skills while defending clients facing charges ranging from DUI, drug possession, and theft to sexual assault, robbery and first-degree murder. With hundreds of cases brought to hearing or trial, she entered private practice in 2004, later forming The Law Office of Stacey A. McCullough, Ltd. Stacey joined Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC in January 2018.

An active member of the legal community, Stacey serves as Treasurer of the DuPage County Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association. She is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, DuPage County Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, DuPage Association of Women Lawyers, Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She has served as President of the DCBA, President of the DCCDLA, Director on the DCBA Board of Directors, and Chair of numerous DCBA committees. Stacey is a current member of the DCBA Public Interest and Action Commission, Budget Committee, Lawyer Referral Service Committee, Membership Committee, Bench Bar Committee, and Criminal Law and Practice Section. She is a frequent presenter at Continuing Legal Education seminars for her colleagues, speaking on topics relating to expungement, criminal law and procedure, and trial advocacy.

Stacey’s first and second passions ahead of the law are her teenage son and daughter, who both aspire to follow in her footsteps and become attorneys in the future.

Todd. D. Scalzo has been practicing law since 2004, handling all matters of family law, such as divorce, paternity, child support, maintenance, relocation, allocation of parental responsibilities, and parenting plans. He has argued successfully before the Illinois Supreme Court and the Illinois Appellate Court. Mr. Scalzo is a court-approved guardian ad litem (GAL) and mediator.

Mr. Scalzo is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the DuPage Justinian Society of (Italian-American) Lawyers.

Henry D. Kass

Henry D. Kass is a partner at MKFM Law, LLC, who focuses primarily in the areas of domestic relations, guardianship, and criminal law. He obtained his bachelor of arts from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa and also studied abroad at the University of the Basque Country in San Sebastian, Spain. Following his studies overseas, Henry attended the University of Iowa College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate. Thereafter, he became an Assistant State’s Attorney with the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office under now Appellate Court Justice, Joseph E. Birkett. There, he prosecuted domestic violence and felony cases and was awarded a Special Commendation. Henry has tried dozens of cases before a jury and several hundreds more before the bench. In addition, Henry taught family law for five years at the College of DuPage. He has published articles in the DuPage County Bar Association Brief, the Illinois State Bar Association Newsletter, and the St. Charles Living magazine. He has served as the Vice Chair and Chair to both the Child Advocacy Section and Family Law Section. He has been awarded the Pro Bono Service Award by the DuPage Legal Assistance Foundation and the Board of Directors Award by the DuPage County Bar Association. Henry is also a member of the Justinian Society of Lawyers, a Fellow of the Illinois Bar Foundation, has served on the DuPage County Judicial Committee, and was elected to two terms as an Assembly Member to the Illinois State Bar Association. Henry is currently licensed both in the State of Illinois and Iowa and primarily serves clients in the counties of Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, and Will.

Ms. Harris joined Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella in July 2013, where she focuses on all areas of family law. Prior to that, she worked as an attorney and Guardian ad Litem at the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office, representing children in abuse and neglect cases.

Ms. Harris practices in DuPage, Cook and Will Counties and is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers, and the Justinian Society of Lawyers of DuPage County. Ms. Harris is a DuPage County Court-Appointed Guardian ad Litem and has presented at the 2013 DuPage Guardian ad Litem training as well as the 2014 National Business Institute training on challenges in family law. She was the 2017-2018 Chair of the Family Law Section of the DuPage County Bar Association, which included organizing the 2018 Guardian ad Litem training. Her work with the Family Law Section earned her a Board of Director's Award. Ms. Harris also presently serves on the DuPage County Bar Association Judiciary Committee, which is responsible for investigating and reporting on the retention of judges and the qualification of prospective judges.

Megan C. Harris received her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law at Urbana-Champaign in 2012 and was admitted to practice law in Illinois that same year. She is also a 2008 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois, where she majored in Psychology. While in law school, Ms. Harris was a Notes Editor for the Law Review, participated in the College’s Family Advocacy Clinic, and clerked at a general practice law firm. Ms. Harris achieved academic distinction each year and was also nominated for the Paul Lisnek Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Ms. Harris authored an article on jail visitation policies as they affect parents and infants, which was published in 2012 in the University of Illinois Law Review.

When not engaged in her professional work, Ms. Harris enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and sons and their menagerie of pets.
