Retired DuPage County Judge John W. Demling Joins Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC

Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC, is very proud to announce that it has hired the Hon. John W. Demling (Ret.) as an of counsel attorney with the firm.

Demling joins MKFM after serving as a judge for 21 years in the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court of DuPage County. He will represent and advise clients in divorce and family law cases.

“After many years of presiding over divorce cases as a judge, I am excited to return to my roots as an attorney,” Demling said. “Joining MKFM is a great opportunity for me to continue guiding people through the emotional process of divorce.”

DuPage County attorney John Demling has more than 40 years of experience as both an attorney and a judge. He was appointed as an associate judge in 1997 and served 18 years in the Domestic Relations Division, including as the Presiding Judge from 2016 to 2017.

Demling has presided over hundreds of divorce cases and has resolved complex matters involving the allocation of parental responsibilities, child relocation, spousal maintenance, and domestic violence. He completed the Family Mediation Program presented by The John Paul Jones Group for the Illinois Supreme Court in 2007.

Wheaton, Illinois, Attorney Stacey A. McCullough Appointed Director of Lawyers Trust Fund

Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC, is proud to announce that attorney Stacey McCullough has been named a director for the Lawyers Trust Fund of Illinois (LTF).

On April 20, 2018, the Illinois Supreme Court appointed Stacey to a term on the LTF’s nine-member Board of Directors, to serve from July 1, 2018, until June 30, 2021. The Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Illinois Supreme Court each appoint three directors to the board. She is honored to have been chosen by Justice Robert R. Thomas, representing the Second District.

As a director, Stacey will help administer the Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA) program by awarding grants to nonprofit legal aid organizations in the state. The LTF has distributed more than $120 million in grants since its inception in 1983, supporting initiatives to build strong, effective, and innovative legal aid programs.

Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC, is pleased to announce the addition of associate attorneys Amanda M. Zannoni, Heather M. White, and Jolianne S. Alexander to the firm. All three began working at the Wheaton, Illinois, law firm in 2018.

Attorney Amanda M. Zannoni is a May 2017 graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, where she received her juris doctor and a certificate in estate planning. She was sworn into the Illinois State Bar in November 2017 and practices estate planning and family law. While at Syracuse, she worked for the Elder Law Clinic and represented elderly clients in the areas of family law, estate planning, and elder law.

Attorney Stacey A. McCullough Joins MKFM Law Firm

Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC, is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Stacey A. McCullough to its practice, having joined the firm Of Counsel on January 1st, 2018.

Attorney Stacey A. McCullough has focused on criminal defense for more than 20 years. She demonstrates honesty, compassion, and dedication to every client she represents, whether they are facing a simple traffic violation or a significant felony charge.

Stacey was admitted to the practice of law in 1994 after earning her Juris Doctor from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice conferred with Highest Honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1991.

Stacey has devoted her entire legal career to the criminal justice system. That experience has led her to expand her practice to related areas of law, including school disciplinary hearings, contested orders of protections, and D.C.F.S. appeals. She developed her invaluable trial and negotiation skills through her service at the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office before entering private practice in 2004. For 12 years, Stacey was a solo practitioner at The Law Office of Stacey A. McCullough, Ltd. in Wheaton, Illinois.
